My journey to UX/UI has been anything but conventional. I pivoted from being a pharmacy student to working in content creation and event planning, to finally becoming a current masters student at the University of Washington studying Human Centered Design and Engineering. Throughout each phase, I've learned valuable lessons that have shaped me into the designer I am today. As a student pharmacist, I constantly worked directly with patients to optimize their treatment, which helped me become an empathetic listener.  Working in content creation and event planning at Yelp sharpened my creative eye as I solved challenges to increase user engagement, while also working directly with business owners to create memorable events for the community. These experiences have led to my passion for using empathy and analytical thinking to not only create meaningful experiences, but to also utilize valuable user-centered insights to drive business growth.

On a more personal note, I love taking photos of the beautiful Seattle scenery, throwing new mugs and bowls on the pottery wheel, and trying out the latest cafes and food spots in town. If you're interested in chatting, please feel free to reach out to me!
